The Library is an educational resource centre for both students and teachers and is an integral part of learning at St Catherine’s. By providing a wide range of up to date reading materials and resources, it aims to develop in the children, an appreciation of literature and enjoyment in reading whilst also providing resources that reflect the current Australian Curriculum. ALIA advocates for school libraries at a national, state and local level. The St Carlo Borromeo school library is an exciting and vibrant resource centre of our school. Each class is timetabled to visit the library each week for a lesson and to borrow books for reading. We ask that parents help to reinforce library rules which we have in place.
